C..A.R.E., Canton Advocates for Responsible Expansion, Inc. is a town-wide grass roots organization promoting intelligent economic development in Canton.

C.A.R.E. believes that large-scale developments, such as big-box stores, detract from the rural nature and small-town quality of life Canton residents cherish.

C.A.R.E. favors development that increases our tax base and provides beneficial services, without destroying Canton’s traditional New England flavor.

Members come from North Canton to Collinsville, include life-long and newer residents, and represent a wide range of interests and experiences. What we share is a concern for protecting Canton’s quality of life.
